1. Race like a champion
Be part of the Formula One action at Marina Bay Sands, which will see F1 champion Lewis Hamilton make a public appearance on 14 September. Besides meeting his fans, the official IWC Schaffhausen brand ambassador will also be setting his personal race lap time at a special F1 racing simulator set up outside luxury watch brand store IWC at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Fans who would like to challenge his race lap time can do so at the same racing simulator which will be available from 10 – 18 September leading up to the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. 2. Party at Ultra Singapore
The adrenaline pumps up further on stage at this year’s Ultra Singapore held from 10 to 11 September, Ultra Park, located at 1 Bayfront Avenue. 3. Watch the best of Broadway at Marina Bay Sands
Two of Broadway’s best classics return to the stage at Marina Bay Sands theatres for a limited season only. From 24 August to 4 September, the Tony Award-winning original ANNIE will play at MasterCard Theatres, featuring favorite musical scores such as “Maybe”, “It’s the Hard Knock Life”, and the eternal anthem of optimism, “Tomorrow”. Set in a spectacular and colourful fantasy world of wizards, witches, magic and spells, Broadway’s biggest blockbuster WICKED returns to the Singapore stage from 29 September to 16 October 2016. Spago turns up the heat on F1 celebrations with the launch of its summer party themed ‘Californian dreaming’ on 4 September. For a single ticket priced at S$200, the premier gastronomic event invites guests to party and wind down in style with free-flow food and alcoholic beverages, accompanied by cutting-edge sounds from guest DJ Patrick Oliver. The event promises an afternoon of fun and indulgence from 12pm to 5pm, with premier champagne and signature cocktails, as well as a buffet line of all-time favourite Spago dishes such as Pana Cotta Spoons and Laksa Spring Rolls.
9. Special lunch menu at CUT by Wolfgang Puck
Joining in the F1 celebrations is Marina Bay Sands’ latest Michelin-starred restaurant CUT by Wolfgang Puck, which will be serving a special lunch menu from 12pm to 3pm, only on 18 September. Entrees start from S$35, and include all-time favourites such as the Snake River Farms Flat Iron Steak, the U.S.D.A. Prime Sirloin Burger, the Maine Lobster Club Sandwich and the Pan Roasted Norwegian Salmon. Guests can also enjoy CUT’s signature desserts at S$24, which include the Banana Cream Pie, Warm Butterscotch Apple Crumble, as well as the signature Kaya Baked Alaska inspired by local flavours.
