Located at level 3 of Suntec City’s newest Sky Garden, Eat at Seven is home to scene of Japan’s top food specialist concepts as well as restaurants. Fans of Japanese food will find much to like and dine at Eat at Seven.
We discovered into one of the seven concepts by Eat at Seven – NikuNoHi, a Yakiniku specialist that talks all about 23 premium and authentic roasted beef parts. The bright red of the meats look salivating, the great selection of authentic premium meats fits for carnivorous eaters perfectly.
There’s more to one type of premium meats
The harami (Toriyama A4 Skirt, $35/100g) is more lean of all meats. We just briefly cook the small chunks of meat – it is quite satisfying. They are accompanied by great crunchy side offerings like kimchi and spicy pickles.
For the real meat eaters like guys, you will probably enjoy the plate of karubi ($45/100g). They are seasonally marinated and boast a few layers of fats. You can wash them down with beer.
The must-try dishes include Kagoshima (Japanese Sirloin A4, $80/200g) and Gyutan (Wagyu Tongue, $28). They are like perennial favorites.
Like Kagoshima, it is truly my top choice as the lining of fats are charred to perfection. It gives great bites over the tender premium meats as you dip them with their homemade sauce. Very amazing.
The loins (Toriyama A4 loos, $40/100g) is a good balance between lean and fatty meats. You can accompany the grilled meats with a range of tapas that’s available in NikuNoHi.
The a la carte premium meat picks may look expensive, you can always choose to go for NikuNoHi buffet at $45++ per person. To top for free flow of drinks and alcohol, you can top up $35.
Comparing to many Yakiniku meat specialists, NikuNoHi is considered good with their good prices. It’s certainly something to come back for.
