Sports Massage Is Key For Recovery Journey
Hard training creates a lot of muscle tension, especially in areas that are repeatedly loaded. For example, HYROX athletes load a lot on their quads, glutes, lower back, runners on their calves, hamstrings, hip flexors, cross fitters on their chest, shoulders, triceps, upper back. Sports massages assist to reset these key areas and restore movement patterns.

Mobility and Motion Recovery – The Missing Link in Athletic Performance
Many athletes focus heavily on training volume and intensity but neglect mobility and movement quality. Over time, this distresses your muscles and causes downhill performance curve. During the session, I got to learn from Jerome about the difference between flexibility and mobility. Flexibility is how far a muscle can stretch, mobility is how you can actively control and move with a range.
Some other great benefits for runners would be smoother stride mechanics, less energy wastage and cadence improvement.
