In this review, we are introducing the newest Bangkok restaurant – Seen Restaurant & Bar, overlooking the majestic Chao Phraya River at Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel. There’s much to love about Bangkok.
Vast spaces and high ceilings that are vibrant with character
In terms of food, the airy space with floor-to-ceiling windows-wrapped restaurant on the rooftop offers a mix of international delights, synonymous with the SEEN experience. Chef Olivier da Costa’s regionally sourced cuisine is a rendition of locally sourced, fresh and bold flavors.
Local ingredients with world culinary experience
Many Bangkok restaurants have always been in the forefront of the global culinary scene, so will be Seen Restaurant & Bar. They have an exclusive sushi bar that offers a delightful variety of sashimi and sushi rolls. As a guest, you will be spoilt with unlimited options.
Making full use of the local ingredients, there are some dishes drawing in both crowds and global recognition alike. Like their Organic Beetroot Carpaccio (THB490), you can sample the light flavours coming from feta cheese and orange. Everything just balances off perfectly.
My travel companion and I really enjoyed the next communal dish Wagyu Slice (250gm) (THB1,390), accompanied with Parmesan spaghetti – it’s just so mouth-watering for sharing!
Drinking is a delight when you are at the top of city
Overlooking the Chao Phraya River and the skyscrapers of Bangkok, the 26th-27th floor view of Seen is a respite from the vibrant Bangkok street life below. Drinking becomes a delight when you are at the top of the city.
The guests can experience a gastronomic range of cocktails with memorable taste. Don’t miss the Seen of Rosita (THB450), it is how the locals will drink their Negroni in Thailand. They also offer Asian fusion version of the Julep, Fusion Julep (THB400) well-balanced with super unique tastes.
